Position for Field Service Engineer / São Paulo

Then we have an exciting position as Field Service Engineer in an international environment available.

SANOVO TECHNOLOGY GROUP is undergoing a rapid development and facing new exciting tasks. Our business unit is located in Sao Paulo, Brazil and covers all South America countries. As part of our strategy, we are constantly focusing on strengthening our service set-up to give our customers easier access, and in a growing market we are therefore looking for a Field Service Engineer with solid experience – preferably within the food or processing industry.

You will be responsible for:

As a Field Service Engineer you will be responsible for installation and test of complete plants in accordance with layout drawings at the customer – including training of the customer’s employees and local service technicians.

Therefore it is important that your professional tool box is all right, and that you are able to create a good contact with the customer, securing the customer is in good hands during both the on-site installations and start-up of new machines and also in connection with the regular service visits. The work area will mainly be in South America and you must expect travelling 75% of your time, approximately.

You will be responsible for planning your own work and tasks, which includes ordering of spare parts before service visits, responsibility for the on-site installation or the service job and also for making good quality written service reports and additional documentation after the work is performed.

We have an informal company culture with a high degree of employee satisfaction, and a flat organizational structure allowing us to make prompt decisions. You will become a member of the service team in South America, which at the present are located in Colombia, Argentina and Brazil.

Before you start working independently, you will go through an internal training, which secures you the necessary specialized knowledge about our machines and equipment. The training will take place locally, as well as in our competence centers in Denmark, Netherlands and Italy.

• You have a professional education, which may be supplemented by a technical education in the mechanical-, automation-, process-, auto- or electricity subjects. As far as the experienced candidate is, experience can benefit from the food or process industry.

• You are responsible, succeed in working independently, and manage to work methodically and analytically, which enables you to also handle the unexpected situations.

• You are a skilled communicator, clearly articulate, and with focus on the recipient, whether orally or in writing – in Spanish and English, and no matter what level of the organization.

• Good english communication is mandatory, considering we use it almost daily, with our other offices around the globe.
