ENGLISH LANGUAGE ARTS / IB MYP TEACHER – Barueri

Escola Internacional de Alphaville, an IB Continuum World School, is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated educator to join our team.

A fantastic opportunity currently exists for a qualified and dynamic educator with a proficient level of English (CEFR C2) to take up a post as a Middle School (grades 6 and 7) English Language arts teacher. The successful applicant will be a person who is internationally minded with a demonstrable passion for education, have strong communication, organisational and personal skills, and the desire to improve their teaching practice and actively pursue learning strategies. 

• Immediate start
• 40 hour p/w contract

WHAT YOU’LL NEED FOR SUCCESS

• English language proficiency at, or equivalent to, CEFR C2;
• English language teaching experience at the middle school level and an exemplary track record of student learning;
• Licenciatura plena em Letras (Inglês);
• Strong knowledge in the conventions of the English language and literature;
• Commitment to the student’s social, emotional and physical well being;
• Excellent communication skills, time management and adaptability. You should be a patient and empathetic educator who is passionate about providing a nurturing learning environment;
• Working collaboratively and participating in the wider school community is essential;
• Have aspirations to work collaboratively to take forward the quality of English language learning;
• IB experience is preferred, but not essential;
• Actively realise the full potential of each student and promote ideals of excellence.
