ABOUT THE ROLE
The Logistics Data Manager plays a critical role in transforming raw data into actionable insights, enhancing operational efficiency across SHEIN’s logistics network. This position requires deep expertise in data analytics, predictive modeling, and visualization tools to support decision-making across first-mile, middle-mile, last-mile operations, reverse logistics, customs clearance, and cross-border logistics.
Key Responsibilities
Data Management & Accessibility: Ensure full access to all logistics-related databases, structuring robust data pipelines for seamless reporting and analysis.
- Predictive Analytics: Utilize historical and real-time data to forecast potential risks, anticipate deviations, and improve operational planning.
- Data Insights & Trend Analysis: Identify patterns and trends from historical results, forecasts, and external factors, providing key insights to support decision-making across operational and business teams.
- Dashboard Development & Maintenance: Design, build, and manage real-time operational dashboards using Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Python, ensuring clear, visually intuitive performance tracking.
- Operational Analytics: Develop advanced data models and KPIs to monitor and optimize logistics flows, focusing on delivery speed, fulfillment accuracy, cost efficiency, and SLA compliance.
- Process Optimization & Automation: Leverage data-driven insights and automation strategies to enhance logistics performance and operational scalability.
- Strategic Network Planning Data Support: Conduct data analysis for short- and medium-term strategic initiatives, optimizing the logistics network to meet cost and performance objectives.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with local and global stakeholders—including logistics teams, operations managers, and tech teams—to integrate data-driven insights into business strategies.
- Industry Benchmarking: Stay updated on best practices in logistics analytics, comparing SHEIN’s performance against industry standards in e-commerce logistics and supply chain analytics.
- Performance Monitoring & Project Leadership: Develop and track KPIs related to operational efficiency and strategic execution. Oversee high-impact projects from planning through execution, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Business, Engineering, Economics, or related fields.
- Fluent English (mandatory) – ability to engage with international teams.
- 5+ years of experience in logistics and/or e-commerce supply chain analytics.
- Proficiency in Tableau, Power BI, SQL, and Python for data visualization, analysis, and automation.
- Experience with large-scale operational datasets, including real-time tracking, demand forecasting, anomaly detection, and geospatial data analysis.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in fast-paced environments.
- Experience with predictive analytics and machine learning models for logistics optimization.
- Understanding of APIs and data integration between logistics systems.
