About The Job
- Responsible for delivering relevant consumer insights that inform business decisions, identifies opportunities and supports the growth plans.
- Builds on going performance reports that are accessible, easy to read and visualize.
- Structures the learning plan and deliveries in line with the business calendar and priorities.
- Influences the category strategy.
- Is recognized as key business partner to the Marketing team.
Main Responsibilities
On Market & Consumer knowledge
- Conduct analysis using all available tools (e.g. Nielsen, Scanntech, Kantar, Euromonitor, internal info, etc) to:
- clearly explain business performance and find opportunities.
- Define key KPIs and produce reports that are clear and friendly to navigate. Use digital tools to automate data delivery and visualization.
- Connect the dots and make recommendations: synthesize the research, extract key conclusions, construct concrete recommendations, and create a persuasive storyline that influences key stakeholders.
- Prepare and present research findings both through written reports and oral presentations in a concise and compelling way.
- Ensure all outputs are actionable, grounded in consumer knowledge as well as guided by a broader understanding of business context and implications and inspires team to uncover the ‘so what’ of the deliverables.
- Identify relevant opportunities for growth that are connected to the business reality and capabilities (White spaces/where to play/how to win)
Research project management
- Properly define problems and translate them into high quality briefs.
- Identify knowledge gaps (when we need new information and when we don’t).
- Manage qualitative and quantitative research projects (briefing, vendor management, project design, analysis & reporting) involving a wide range of methodologies.
- Design, plan and execute research projects for the entire marketing mix (market monitoring, consumer fundamentals, trends, communication, brand equity, innovation/renovation, product performance, placement, price and promotions)
- Identify and implement new and innovative research techniques to address business needs.
Ways of Working
- Identify knowledge gaps to nurture the annual learning plans in line with the business priorities.
- Be recognized as a key partner to the marketing team but also proves connection to business at all levels; create a network and seek to be informed of the organization performance and priorities.
- Partner with the broader insights team across the organization. Leverage on global resources, create connections within the international community and bring relevant inspiration from cases abroad.
- Will help build GMIs portfolio of the future by understanding our global brands and their potential into the Brazilian market.
