Could you be the Project Quality Manager in Taubaté we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your quality management expertise in a dynamic and innovative field. You’ll work alongside collaborative, detail-oriented, and forward-thinking teammates.

You’ll ensure the highest levels of quality and safety for our projects, making a meaningful impact on their successful delivery. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as project management, industrial quality, and supplier quality), act as the key interface with customers for quality-related activities, and much more.

You’ll specifically take care of monitoring and executing the Project Quality Plan, as well as ensuring proper validation and documentation of quality processes, but also support warranty activities and contribute to safety case reviews.

We’ll look to you for:

• Ensuring the high level of quality and safety of projects, and monitoring the execution of the Project Quality Plan
• Controlling the Project Quality Work Package, with regular updates
• Supporting the Project Manager with Development for Quality preparation and related activities
• Representing the Quality System in activities such as internal and external audits
• Acting as the interface between Alstom and customers for quality-related activities
• Applying problem-solving methodologies and ensuring proper progress on project open points
• Supporting warranty activities during the warranty phase
• Ensuring the right configuration is applied and supporting teams involved with changes
• Coordinating the project quality community and ensuring lessons learned (REX) are incorporated

All About You

• Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Production, or related fields)
• Master’s degree in Quality or related fields (preferred)
• Internal auditor certification (preferred)
• Knowledge of railway safety (preferred)
• Experience or understanding of quality tools such as 8D, QRQC, Control Plan, PFMEA, DFQ, Ishikawa, Pareto, Factor Tree Analysis, 5 Whys, 5S
• Knowledge of quality standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO TS 22163) and standard quality KPIs
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial quality activities experience in the railway industry (preferred)
• Fluency in Portuguese and English; advanced Spanish skills
• Availability for international travel and prior experience with international missions
