Job Description

This role will be based in São Paulo, Brazil.

The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team

The Sales Operations team sits at the core of LinkedIn Sales Solutions, partnering with a variety of cross-functional teams (sales, business operations, finance, marketing, product, etc) to help crack the most important strategic and operational problems facing the Sales Solutions business.  

As the  Sales Operations Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading, executing, and scaling strategic and operational processes in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for partnering with senior Sales Operations executives and other senior stakeholders to assess business processes and derive actionable insights focused on increasing sales productivity, tools and systems adoption and customer value.

The candidate should also be able to handle highly sensitive, confidential, and non-routine information, have high attention to detail, be open-minded to challenge the status quo, and work in a rapidly changing organization while inspiring excellence from themselves and business partners.

The ideal candidate can effectively communicate with executives and collaborate with a variety of people and job functions, accomplishing tasks of high complexity and scope, and perform professionally in a challenging, ambiguous, and fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be able to handle confidential and non-routine information supporting a rapidly changing organization. We’re seeking a leader who can recognize opportunities to drive business optimizations and growth or improve processes and who can lead a team to bring these ideas to life.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a top-caliber international Sales Operations team, including supervising people managers in other geographies
  • Act as an advisor to Sales Operations and cross-functional leadership by delivering data-driven recommendations to help optimize and scale processes and achieve strategic priorities
  • Understand existing CRM and other systems’ core processes and how emerging Go-To-Market motions may affect existing processes
  • Scale repeatable processes by proactively identifying inefficiencies in existing workflows and mapping out specific actions to drive improvements
  • Proactively identify opportunities to drive greater impact through centralization and lead projects to generate operational efficiency at scale, including systems enhancements, CRM audits, compensations flows, and process improvement around the account and opportunity management
  • Work cross-functionally with GTM Operations, Sales, R&D, Strategic Finance, Compensation, and Marketing to help suggest and implement improvements to processes
  • Serve as Chief of Staff to the global leader of the LSS Sales Operations organization, with up to 30% of capacity spent:
    • Centrally coordinating and executing on global initiatives
    • Organizing key meetings (weekly leadership meetings, quarterly town halls, offsites) and preparing agendas, materials, and follow-ups
    • Managing budgeting and review processes for the organization
  • Act as a de facto LSS Sales Operations leader in LinkedIn’s São Paulo office, helping drive culture and serving as a mentor to individual contributors in the office

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 6+ years’ experience in a strategic or analytical role, including Consulting, Finance, Business Operations, Sales Operations, or similar
  • 4+ years’ experience with data analysis/modeling (Excel, SQL) and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • 2+ years of management experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven track record of leading strategic and operational cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth, performance-focused environment
  • Exceptional problem solving and analytical skills; demonstrated ability to structure complex problems, navigate challenging data sets, develop solutions, and craft high-quality executive presentations
  • Strong communication skills written and verbal, including experience communicating with senior leaders
  • Experience with D365, SFDC, and reporting tools like PowerBI and/or Tableau
  • Highly collaborative style with strong influence skills
  • MBA or advanced degree preferred (or equivalent work experience)
