Position Overview:

As the Country Manager for Brazil, you will be the driving force behind Paybyrd’s operations and growth in the region. You will spearhead our sales strategies, build and nurture client relationships, and ensure our market presence is robust and expanding. Your leadership will be crucial in steering the team towards achieving ambitious targets and maintaining our commitment to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Management: Lead and manage the Brazilian team, fostering a high-performance culture. Ensure alignment with global strategies and local market dynamics.
  • Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive growth and expand market share. Identify new business opportunities and build strong, lasting relationships with clients.
  • Market Development: Conduct market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs. Leverage insights to position Paybyrd as the preferred payment solution provider.
  • Client Engagement: Maintain and enhance relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Financial Performance: Oversee the country’s P&L, budgeting, and financial planning. Ensure financial targets are met or exceeded.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations comply with local regulations and company policies. Liaise with regulatory bodies as needed.
  • Brand Ambassador: Represent Paybyrd at industry events, conferences, and in the media. Promote our brand and value proposition to a broad audience.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience in sales and leadership roles, preferably within the fintech or payments industry.
  • Leadership: Proven track record of leading and inspiring teams to achieve significant results. Strong strategic and operational management skills.
  • Sales Acumen: Deep understanding of sales processes and techniques. Demonstrated ability to close deals and grow revenue.
  • Market Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the Brazilian market, including trends, customer behaviors, and regulatory environment.
  • Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Language: Fluency in Portuguese and English is required.
