Logistics Supervisor

The Logistics Operations Supervisor in Brazil will oversee all inventory management and logistics operations, ensuring efficient and cost-effective processes. This role includes managing the logistics team, optimizing inventory control, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with local regulations. The supervisor will focus on maintaining seamless supply chain operations to meet customer demands and support business objectives.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Administration, Engineering or Supply Chain Management or related.

5 years of experience as a Logistics Supervisor/Coordinator is required.

Post degree or MBA in Supply Chain or Logístics or related is desirable.

Advanced English is mandatory (an interview will be conducted).

Spanish Advanced is desirable.

Responsabilities:

• Team Supervision: Oversee a team of logistics ensuring that daily tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
• Performance Management: Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and set development goals for team members to improve their skills and performance.
• Training and Development: Identify training needs and organize training sessions to enhance the team’s knowledge of logistics processes, safety protocols, and use of logistics software.
• Scheduling and Resource Allocation: Create work schedules, assign tasks, and manage resources to ensure smooth operation of logistics activities and timely completion of objectives.
• Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts within the team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment.
• Compliance and Safety Oversight: Ensure that all team members follow company policies, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements, taking corrective action when necessary.
• Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to identify inefficiencies and implement improvements in logistics processes, engaging the team in continuous improvement efforts.
• Budget Management: Monitor and control the department’s budget, ensuring that resources are used effectively, and cost savings are achieved where possible.
