Titulo da vaga: Product Manager – São Paulo
About The Job
SuperSummary is seeking a Product Manager to help us bring new and innovative additions to our product suite as we evolve into a comprehensive suite of products serving diverse readers at every stage of their reading journey.
The ideal candidate is passionate about leading the end-to-end product lifecycle—from the ideation of new products based on user research, to the development, launch, and post-launch optimization of new features. This role will serve as the critical link that ties our product, design, content, and engineering tasks and teams together into seamless execution while working closely with senior leadership to keep our projects aligned with long-term goals.
Given the distributed nature of our team, this role is 100% remote. The majority of our product, design, and engineering teams are currently located in Brazil, while the rest of our team is distributed throughout the US and Latin America.
Key Responsibilities
To succeed in this role, you will be operating as an individual contributor but will also need to have excellent cross-functional coordination, organization, and management skills. As a Product Manager, you will naturally be the “glue” that ties the team’s design, engineering, content, and leadership contributors together. Your primary responsibilities are:
- Develop a strategic roadmap and OKRs for your squad, aligning efforts with company milestones to drive customer acquisition, retention, and lifetime value.
- Collaborate with your squad’s product designer and engineering manager to conduct user research, validate assumptions, and identify opportunities for impactful solutions.
- Facilitate the seamless handoff of projects from various stakeholders across the team, including researchers, content strategists, designers, and engineers; hold team members accountable to timelines to ensure the efficient progression of projects.
- Own product analytics (Google Analytics, Amplitude, Metabase), defining, tracking, and implementing data to inform decisions and generate insights for stakeholders.
- Turn complex opportunities into clear product specifications, while coordinating, QA’ing, and guiding design and engineering throughout the development cycle.
- Oversee release cycles, including A/B tests, beta testing, and rollouts—coordinating with marketing and communicating release notes.
- Collaborate across product, design, engineering, content, and leadership to drive key initiatives, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
Sample Projects
- Lead the research, development, and launch of new AI tools, like our Discussion Questions Generator.
- Independently conduct user interviews to uncover customer needs, pain points, and opportunities for development.
- Build and manage your squad’s product analytics, writing queries and crafting dashboards to communicate insights through clear and compelling storytelling.
- Plan and coordinate complex feature releases using A/B tests, feature flags, and beta tests, ensuring data-driven insights into customer behavior.
Job requirements
- 2-4 years of Product Management experience at innovative, high-growth companies
- Demonstrated track record of success defining, prioritizing, A/B testing, and launching excellent products to meet strategic objectives
- Excellent design sense and experience working closely with talented, user-centric designers
- Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess feature adoption and understand what drives conversion and retention
- Strong research skills, with the ability to consolidate user, market, and competitor research to drive key insights
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills with a precise talent for articulating the rationale for cross-functional prioritization
- Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools
- Highly organized with a meticulous attention to detail and a passion for process-driven success
- Proven ability to work remotely and cross-functionally, and to coordinate teams across time zones via asynchronous communication
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field (STEM, Business, Finance, Economics)
- A dedication to creative problem-solving, innovative thinking, and constant improvement
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working on an EdTech, software, or consumer subscription product
- Experience using generative AI to improve or deploy products
- Experience with content/SEO as a core customer acquisition strategy, and experience working closely with content teams
- Knowledge of A/B testing tools and best practices
- Strong data and analytics background – including experiences working in Looker, Tableau, Amplitude, or other BI tools
- Experience with other tools in our stack: Sprig, Hotjar, Lyssna, Figma, Clarity, and Metabase
- In-depth experience with user research methodologies, including Continuous Discovery, and application of corresponding insights
