GET TO KNOW OUR AREA:

The sales area in Bayer Consumer Health serves as the driving force behind commercial execution, ensuring the availability, visibility, and growth of Bayer’s portfolio in the marketplace. It plays a strategic role in accelerating business performance by connecting market insights with execution excellence. Developing strong partnerships with main retailers, pharmacies, and distributors is a key aspect of the Sales Director role, ensuring seamless execution across all channels and driving sustainable growth for the CH portfolio.

YOUR MISSION WILL BE TO:

  • Major Tasks Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize market potential and achieve financial targets;
  • Sales Performance & Growth: Drive sales execution, identify new business opportunities, and expand presence;
  • Team Leadership & Development: Recruit, train, and motivate high-performing sales teams while fostering a results-driven culture;
  • Market & Competitive Analysis: Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to refine sales strategies;
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain relationships with key accounts, pharmacy chains & wholesalers Cross-Functional;
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, regulatory, supply chain, and medical teams to ensure alignment and execution of business objectives;
  • P&L and Budget Management: Oversee sales budgets, forecasting, and profitability analysis to ensure sustainable growth.

ARE YOU READY FOR THE POSITION?

Must have:

  • Leadership experience in commercial and trade marketing areas in a senior Leadership role;
  • University degree and post-graduation: Business administration, Marketing, Finances or related areas;
  • Solid working experience in Brazil market;
  • Strong leadership and people management experience;
  • Proven track record in developing and building a strong and high level performance team;
  • Experience in Trade Marketing, Category Management, Sales Planning, Budget Management, Performance Evaluation, With Negotiation skills, Multidisciplinary Analysis, Leadership, Personnel Management;
  • Excellent business and analytical skills;
  • Strong sense of urgency to get things done; with result driven attitude and ownership;
  • Comfortable operating in a highly matrix organization. High degree of flexibility, problem solving and partnering ability;
  • Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills to lead/ align cross-functional teams around brand goals and activities;
  • Fluent Portuguese and English languages, both written & spoken.
