ABOUT THE ROLE

Senior Leader, Account Management – Marketplace

The Senior Leader, Account Management – Marketplace, will oversee and guide a team of more than 40 professionals, including multiple Team Leaders and their Account Management teams, to drive the overall growth, performance, and strategic direction of SHEIN’s marketplace categories. This role is pivotal in setting and executing the strategy across multiple categories, ensuring consistent GMV growth, assortment expansion, and a competitive presence within the platform.

As a key leader, this position will provide strategic leadership, mentorship, and operational support to Team Leaders, empowering them to execute category-specific initiatives while driving alignment with the broader business vision. The Senior Leader will play a critical role in identifying new growth opportunities, optimizing category performance, and refining processes to strengthen relationships with sellers and ensure successful category development aligned with consumer demand.

This role will be based in our office in São Paulo/Faria Lima.

Responsibilities:

● Provide strategic leadership across all marketplace categories, setting clear priorities to maximize GMV growth, seller performance, and assortment expansion.

● Lead and mentor a team of over 40 professionals, including multiple Team Leaders and their Account Management teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.

● Translate company goals into actionable strategies for the team by setting clear performance targets, cascading priorities, and ensuring alignment with the broader business vision.

● Oversee and support the creation, implementation, and tracking of team objectives and OKRs (Objectives and Key Results) to ensure sustained growth and alignment with key business deliverables.

● Drive overall category performance by analyzing and addressing gaps, identifying opportunities for optimization, and maintaining a competitive and diversified assortment portfolio.

● Foster strong partnerships with sellers and stakeholders, aligning their efforts to Shein’s strategic objectives while ensuring profitability and operational excellence.

● Spearhead cross-functional initiatives aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and driving innovation across categories.

● Identify new growth opportunities in the marketplace and leverage data-driven solutions to address challenges and unlock additional potential.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degrees are a plus.

● Proven experience in managing teams at scale, with a track record of leading leaders and overseeing multiple business areas or categories.

● Strong strategic mindset with expertise in defining and implementing KPIs and OKRs; ability to translate business goals into actionable team priorities.

● Demonstrated skill in solving complex problems and driving data-based decision-making across a diverse range of categories and partners.

● Excellent analytical skills, with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with other analytical tools is a plus.

● Hands-on experience in Marketplace/E-commerce is required; knowledge of Fashion or other high-growth segments is a plus.

● Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to build relationships across internal teams and external partners.

● Fluency in English is required; Spanish or Mandarin is a plus.
